Logan Ondrusek looks like he should be playing in an NCAA game. He is every bit of the 6'8" as stated in the Reds media guide.
On the day of the Final Four, Ondrusek will be in a Reds' uniform for opening day.
The righthander came up big on the mound in Goodyear. He pitched in six games and did not allow a run in 9 1/3 innings.
He was drafted in the 13th round in 2005 out of McClennan Community College in Waco, Texas. He is a 2003 graduate of St. Pual High School in Shiner, Texas.
Last season he pitched in three levels in the minor leagues. The 25-year old gave up just 12 earned runs in 72 innings with a 4-1 record and 19 saves combined.
"Ondrusek rose through the organization last year and dominated at every level," Jocketty said. "He was that way this spring. He handled himself like a pro without having a lot of experience. He was very impressive."
